What are the correct power management settings in BIOS for sleep to work normally in Windows? I have to press the POWER button on the case to get it out of sleep. If I set the Wakeup Event by > OS, with the other 2 still enabled, it doesn't work. With these settings Windows can wake from sleep with both keyboard and mouse - BUT - the system will turn ON from a shut down condition by keyboard or mouse also. Advanced > Power Management Setup > USB Standby Power at S4/S5 > Enable. Now, everything will work if I set in BIOS: USB Root Hub can't be shut down to save power. Mouse and keyboard are allowed to wake the PC. All settings are as they should be AFAIK. Windows can put the system to SLEEP, but it won't wake by keyboard or mouse.įirst thing: I have checked all the usual suspects in Windows. System is running, Windows 11 is installed, and all is good except: I have a new Pro Z790-A WiFi board running AMI BIOS.
